Capital Campaign
In May 2011, MAAM launched the "Legacy of Hope and Aspiration" capital campaign to raise $6.1 million to fund the renovation and building of the Minnesota African American Museum and Cultural Center. The capital campaign includes a required dollar-for-dollar match of the $1 million state bond awarded by the legislature.
Phase One of the campaign includes the renovation of the Coe Mansion/museum building and Phase Two of the campaign includes the building of the new Cultural Center.
Help build a legacy of hope and aspiration – please consider a gift to MAAM today. To make a donation to the capital campaign, please
