On January 1 2013 the Country will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. The Minnesota African American Museum wishes to make you aware of the many unknown facts about the United States Colored Troops and their fight for Freedom during the Civil War and after Emancipation.
